As many of you know, Fun Runs are highly competitive and with over 300 runners in our first year, the run was definitely a success. What is Frisco Family Services Center?

Frisco Family Services Center, (FFSC) is the only non-profit social service agency in Frisco.  They host the only food pantry in Frisco, offer financial assistance for rent/mortgage and utility payments, provide information and referral services, distribute clothing, furniture and household items, and offer special assistance in providing school supplies, Thanksgiving meals, and holiday gifts for children and senior citizens.  FFSC also offers prescription drug assistance as well as educational programs.  FFSC served over 1300 client families in 2005, including 322 families affected by the hurricanes.  They continue to distribute in excess of 27,000 pounds of food to over 350 families each month.
